Transforming Technical Excellence for Effective Technical Leadership

Abstract:

Most engineering experts will agree that “leadership skills” are essential for project success and individual career growth. However, articulating these skills and learning how to effectively apply them in practice is often non-trivial and underappreciated. This seminar will explore the attributes that define outstanding technical contributions and how those behaviors will … and sometimes won’t … transform individual contributors into effective technical leaders.
