Ultrasound for assessing structure and properties of 3D printed parts

Project Description:

Ultrasonic waves are to be used for characterizing 3D printed parts made out of plastics, resins, or metals. The ultrasound scatters from defects such as pores, cracks, and other structural anomalies. This project supports technology development toward application in the 3D printing field.
