Wei was the master student in the BioNEMS Lab supervised by Dr. Tony Jun Huang, the James Henderson Assistant Professor in the Department of Engineering Science and Mechanics at The Pennsylvania State University. He graduated in August 2008 with Master of Science degree and his thesis topic SURFACE PLASMON-BASED MANIPULATION OF MICROPARTICLES AND DYNAMICS STUDY.
