Penn State Nanofab
Materials Characterization Laboratory

The following pictures, showing the working environment in the PSU BioNEMS lab, were taken in February 2007. During the first year since Prof. Tony Jun Huang joined Penn State, we have made tremendous progress in setting up the lab. Micro/nano manufacturing equipments, electronic and optical characterization tools for nano/bio materials, and microfluidic testing systems have been installed. BioNEMS group members are working hard to building a first-rate laboratory in the fields of Multiphysics of Microfluidics ( Acoustofluidics and Optofluidics ) and Nanostructures for Medical Diagnostics and Therapeutics ( Nanomanufacturing and Nanophotonics ).
