Fundamentals and elements of MEMS, NEMS, microfabrication, micromachining, microfluidics, nanofluidics, and nanotechnology.
Prerequisite: E MCH 013,E MCH 215, E SC 314M or E SC 414M, PHYS 203.
E MCH 011 – Statics
Equilibrium of coplanar force systems; analysis of frames and trusses; noncoplanar force systems; friction; centroids and moments of inertia. Prerequisite or concurrent: MATH 141.
