The Rustum and Della Roy Innovation in Materials Research Award honors interdisciplinary materials research at Penn State which yields valuable, unexpected results and recognizes genuine innovation not previously achieved. It is one of the most prestigious awards for Penn State graduate students. Congratulations on Qingzhen! This is the fifth Rustum & Della Roy Award received by BioNEMS students during the last four years. * BioNEMS Investigator Dr. Tony Jun Huang, Associate Professor in Engineering Science and Mechanics, has received the 2012 Outstanding Young Manufacturing Engineer Award from the Society of Manufacturing Engineers' (SME) International Awards and Recognition Committee. The SME Outstanding Young Manufacturing Engineer Award is conferred in recognition of his significant achievements and leadership in the field of manufacturing engineering as a young engineer.
