Description: This symposium focuses on the methodologies used to model existing and newly synthesized electroactive polymers. Submissions are especially encouraged but not limited to the areas of dielectric elastomer actuators, electrostrictive materials, piezoelectrics, and ionic polymers. Theoretical, computational, and experimental investigations that provide insight into the inherent nonlinearities of these polymers should be included.
