Description: This symposium deals with the use of fabric tensors in Damage Mechanics. This includes the characterization and modeling of micro-crack distributions in solids using fabric tensors. In addition, evolution laws for the fabric tensors may also be considered based on thermodynamics. The investigations should be for metals and composite materials.
