Description: The technical sessions will attempt to combine the many efforts of researchers and engineers to arrive at a common understanding of the fundamentals of friction, wear, and surface interactions, wear resistant coatings and coating methods, failure and degradation mechanisms of surfaces and coatings, tribotesting methodologies, wear mode analysis methodologies, adhesion and transfer mechanisms, lubricants and lubrication, along with other issues of tribology.
