Jillian Woolridge, a double major in engineering science and German, was selected to participate in one of the projects investigating mechanical properties of Nickel-Titanium shape-memory alloys. The DAAD RISE program selects North American undergraduate students in science and engineering to get a glimpse of advanced research work while gaining desirable practical experience in their field. More specifically, Jillian will be utilizing different techniques and methods when working with and manipulating Nickel-Titanium.
