Richard Temple
Richard C. Temple, M.S. ’93 Engineering Mechanics; M.S. ’95 Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering; Penn State; is a Senior Petroleum Engineer for Chevron Energy Technology Company in San Ramon, CA. He provides technical support and onsite supervision for Chevron drilling projects throughout the world. He is a licensed Professional Engineer with the State of California in both mechanical engineering and petroleum engineering. As a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the Society of Petroleum Engineers, he has co-authored numerous technical papers.

Mr. Temple has recruited at Penn State for Chevron Corp. and Texaco, Inc., since 1996. He was involved with scholarship administration and program support for Penn State’s Minority Engineering Program (MEP) and Women’s Engineering Program (WEP) for Chevron/Texaco from 1996-2002. Mr. Temple has been an active member of the MEP Advisory Board since 2002. He is a life member of the Penn State Alumni Association, and an alumnus of the College of Earth and Mineral Science. He resides in Pleasanton, CA, with his wife Nancy.
