In 1982, Mr. Miller joined PP&L Company in Allentown, PA, and worked as Project Engineer and Sr. Project Engineer in the Business Services group before being promoted to his current position as Supervisor, Nuclear Business Improvement, for PPL Susquehanna, PPL's only nuclear generation company and the largest generator in their power plant fleet. Mr. Miller’s group of primarily Sr. Engineers and Financial Specialists, located in Allentown and Berwick, PA, is responsible for the development of business plans and budgets, benchmarking support services, preparation of performance measures, and monitoring and analysis of spending and operational performance for this generating station. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania.
Mr. Miller is married to Marie (Chirillo) Miller (PSU Class of '74-Math). Their daughter, Stephanie, will be starting her junior year at University Park this fall in the Smeal College of Business; and their son, Bradley, a High School Senior, intends to enroll at Penn State fall 2007. Mr. Miller enjoys golfing and traveling with his family. He is also President of his own real estate management company, which owns a small rural community, and operates the public water system that serves this community.
