Dr. Sam Y. Zamrik, Professor Emeritus of Engineering Mechanics, is the Conference and Technical Program Chair of the Eleventh International Council on Pressure Vessel Technology (ICPVT-11) taking place July 23-27, 2006, in Vancouver, British Columbia.

ICPVT-11 is being held in conjunction with the ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) Pressure Vessels and Piping (PVP) Conference of which Dr. Judith A. Todd, P.B. Breneman Department Head Chair, Engineering Science and Mechanics, is the Conference Chair. PVP 2006/ICPVT-11 are sponsoring the conference jointly and in collaboration with the ASME NDE (non-destructive evaluation) and Pipeline Systems Divisions, and the Canadian Society of Mechanical Engineers.
