Dr. Akhlesh Lakhtakia and Dr. Fei Wang are the editors of "Nanotechnology--Theory and Modeling", a collection of 50 papers that focus on the theory and modeling of nanoscale materials and structures. Topics inlcude nanotubes, quantum dots, photonic crystals, sculptured thin films, spintronics, nanomagnetics, and nanobiotechnology. The book is published by SPIE (The International Society for Optical Engineering).

Dr. Wang earned his Ph.D. from Penn State's Engineering Science and Mechanics program in May 2005. He is currently employed as a Process R&D Engineer with Micron Technology.
