Mr. Vivek Verma (ESM doctoral student) will attend the Tenth Annual Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Education Scholars Program at Howard University, Washington, DC, June 27th - June 30th, 2006.
The conference, sponsored by the Center for the Integration of Research, Teaching, and Learning (CIRTL), provides participants an opportunity to interact with national experts in teaching and learning for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Mr. Verma has received a $1,500 scholarship from Penn State's Office of Engineering Instructional Services for his participation in the program.
