William Ames, ESM Information Technology Specialist, has been awarded a College of Engineering Peer Review of Exceptional Performance (PREP) Silver Level Award.


Mr. Ames, who has been employed with the ESM Department for eight years, was recognized for his contributions to our 250 users, 400 networked devices, ESM wireless communications technology, the ESM web site, network security (which has not had a compromised server), data backup and retrieval, ESM newsletters and special events publicity, new office equipment technologies, ESM video and iPod productions, ESM’s IT Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiative, and training of faculty, staff and students in new IT technologies.
