Charles Smith, graduate student in Engineering Science, was announced recently by the National Science Foundation (NSF) that he has been awarded an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship for 2012-13. The NSF program supports outstanding graduate students in science, technology, engineering, STEM education and learning research, and mathematics disciplines who are pursuing research-based master's and doctoral degrees.
