Dr. Ivi Smid, associate professor in Engineering Science and Mechanics, will travel to Columbus, Ohio on October 16 to attend and present “Cold-Sprayed Self-Lubricating Coatings Utilizing Ni-Encapsulated Particulate Composites,” at MS&T 2011. Additionally, Dr. Smid is the lead organizer of the symposium “Particulate Composites,” which is comprised of three sessions at the conference.
