Prof. Melik Demirel, Pearce Assistant Professor, and Mr. Eric So, PhD student in Engineering Science and Mechanics, are presenting their recent work entitled “Producing Testable Nanotopographies” at the 3rd Joint ONR / AMBIO Antifouling Workshop December 10 - 12, 2007. This work is supported by the Young Investigator Program of the ONR.

Professors S. Ashok and B. Tittmann have been approved for spring semester 2009 sabbatical leaves. Professor Ashok will spend his sabbatical collaborating with faculty at the Department of Electrical Engineering of the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.

Professor Tittmann will collaborate with faculty at the University of California, Irvine, University of Windsor, Canada and Penn State in the development of a multi-disciplinary research.
