Well, I disabled plugins in a previous version in response to the
problems you and others were having. I'm frankly not motivated to
install Adobe's crapware and try to debug the problem on 10.3.x,
since I can't even build TCOBrowser on 10.3.x anymore.

I think what should happen is that after you click the link, it gets
handed over to your default web browser for download; you could
bypass this by control-clicking on the PDF link to save the file.

All this should do is hand the URL to the default application for
that type; if it's http or ftp, it should open in a browser. It's
basically the same operation as double-clicking a webloc in the
Finder. I can't explain the log messages, but it certainly appears
to be related to Adobe's plugin. It would be interesting to know if
this problem occurs with all applications which use WebKit to display
web content, or if I'm doing something wrong.

Thank you Adam for your suggestion, but I am on Macintosh and I am lucky =
to
be :-) Or is there a part for Mac, perhaps the TCOBrowser, you are =
speaking
of (what is this beast meaning ?)

It is indeed the TCOBrowser Adam is talking about - it's a neat
program for accessing TeX package related documentation from your
Mac. Check it out: http://tcobrowser.sourceforge.net/
you will like it.

Apparently TCOBrowser also installs MikTeX packages... (I'm amazed as
usual)
