Useful & Fun Mac Software

This page used to be filled with applications, control panels, and extensions that were not only useful and/or fun (i.e., I used them a lot), but they also proved to be stable with Mac OS 8.0/8.1/8.5/8.6/9.0/9.1.

On August 17, 2001, I announced that I would no longer be updating these pages since I had installed Mac OS X 10.0 at the start of the summer and I found I was running Mac OS 9 less and less. These pages had continued to be available until today (Sunday, May 27, 2007), but I have removed them due to legal constraints imposed by my employer (The Pennsylvania State University).
