ESM Today
A Graduate Research Symposium
Engineering Science and Mechanics (ESM) hosts an annual graduate research symposium called ESM Today. The symposium is open to all graduate students in the department to present their work to peers and colleagues, exchange ideas across the various research disciplines, and to hone their presentation skills. Presenters are required to explain their work in a way that is accessible to engineers and scientists who are not specialists in the presenter’s discipline. The symposium is organized by the ESM Graduate Student Council. Prizes are awarded for the categories of “best paper” and “best poster”.
