Course Description

Kinematics of particles and rigid bodies; Newtonian equations in rotating coordinate systems; Kinetics of particles; Work-Energy methods for particles; Impulse-Momentum methods for particles; Kinetics of rigid bodies; Lagrange's equations of motion; Hamilton's principle; Gibbs-Appell equations; special problems in vibrations and dynamics.

Prerequisites: EMch 12, Math 251.
