Second Tailgate—Homecoming Weekend, October 18th, 2008
Enjoy a day full of fun, food and football at the ESM Alumni Homecoming Tailgate 2008. Touch base with former classmates and teachers and make new friends with our ESM faculty and students.
Start your morning in ESM with department head Judy Todd in the Earth-Engineering Science Building. Enjoy coffee and donuts, share your experiences with alumni and friends during the department update, and visit with faculty, students, and their laboratories to learn more about our cutting-edge research.
Ride the shuttle to the tailgate location for a taste of the Awful Chili Cook-off Team’s prize winning cuisine and get ready to cheer the Nittany Lions to victory over Michigan.

Planned Events
- Open House from 10:00 am - 12:00 noon at the Earth-Engineering Sciences Building—includes Coffee and Donuts with the Department Head from 10:30-10:50.
- Tailgate from 12:00 noon - 4:00 pm at Beaver Stadium.
- Game time for non-ticket holders beginning at 4:30 pm at Department Head Judith Todd’s residence in State College
The ESM tailgate will be located in parking space #41 located on the corner of Park Avenue and Porter Road from 12:00 noon until 4:00 pm. Click here for a campus map indicating the tailgate location and ESM department.
