PSES Awards for 2008

Mike Erdman Dr. Akhlesh Lakhtakia

In March 2008, four members of the ESM community received Penn State Engineering Society (PSES) awards.

Mike Erdman was awarded the PSES Distinguished Service Award, Akhlesh Lakhtakia was awarded the PSES Premier Research Award, Mike Lanagan, the PSES Outstanding Research Award, and Mark Horn received the PSES Outstanding Teaching Award.

The PSES is the only all-alumni advisory body in the College of Engineering. The Society works closely with College deans, faculty, and students to promote and improve the engineering program at Penn State and makes annual awards to the College of Engineering faculty, alumni and staff.
